Guilty Crown: Inori Sings

Randomly clicked on the opening of Guilty Crown in Youtube while browsing through new anime openings - and wow. Awesome find!

The song "My Dearest" by Supercell - EPIC! Couldn't stop listening to it! So I decided I HAD to check out the anime itself.

First episode was, honestly, pretty generic - loser boy unsatisfied with his life meets a mysterious super cute girl who then somehow gives him powers and then poof - boy is now bad ass. Most anime have this kind of plot, but still, animation was great, the songs were superb and the action is amazing! I bet this anime's gonna get better in the later episodes. I have to say though, even though the first episode is formulaic, it was still pretty awesome - I the scene where the boy finally uses Inori's powers and then he gets some flash backs and then he opens his eyes then BAM! Background score gets epic, action gets incredible and I just can't deny the fact that I wished I was in that boy's shoes.

And yes, I had to draw Inori. She looks really cute! I made this drawing pretty simple and minimalistic too - like I always make my drawings. Just Inori singing her heart out on the edge of some crystal stuff. I went overboard with her costume by the way just to give the picture an artsy look. Although I do doubt anyone would ever wear her costume while walking through town.
