RIFT - Child of the Sea

No one knows where she came from
All they know is that she has always been there
The Child of the Sea
The ocean's chosen
None has ever gone through her
And beyond her are waters never before explored

My entry for the Colossus Contest. It's a creature of the Water Plane. People just call it the "Child of the Sea".

Not really looking forward to actually compete (especially after seeing most of the other entries - which are all EPIC), just wanted to see what kind of monster I'll come up with.

And... It's a whale-like thingy with horns on it. Yeap. A whole tub of lard and blubber. I put a sailing ship in there for sense of size. Looked at whale pictures for inspiration. Was gonna do this entirely with traditional media, but it's easier to color the sky and the sea with Photoshop, taking into account the amount of blue in this picture. So yeah. There. A whale.
