Spirited Away: Ripple

And my Spirited Away madness continues with this drawing.

Just Chihiro and Haku together. Tried to make it look a little more romantic since it's Heart's Season this month (bleck). LOL!

But seriously, just wanted to make a nicer couple pic of Chihiro and Haku. I think they look really sweet together. I colored this a little lighter than usual. It's quite difficult to edit the colors after I scanned it 'cause I tried to get rid of the grayish shadows on the paper by tweaking the curves and levels, but if I do it too much, the light blues and browns would also disappear.

So yeah, I hope it looks okay, 'cause it looks fine to me. Wah!

Anyways, I the places in Hayao's movies. There's always an element of water in them. In Spirited Away for example, I really fell in love with the flooded train tracks. It just looks so dream like. I tried putting that water element here in this drawing. And since Haku is a water dragon spirit, then... I came up with this.
