Steins Gate - Time Machine Duo by Nick-Ian Steins Gate - Time Machine Duo by Nick-Ian
Steins Gate - I don't usually come along shows like this. It's one of those animes with a really interesting story line and intriguing plot. And it's sci-fi without the robots and the overly cliche hi-tech machinery - just a wacky microwave and a handy cell phone (although they did show a real time machine in the later parts).

The show presents a time machine that is actually believable. I do think it's more plausible to send your memory back in time instead of your actual body. That's just one of the interesting things in this anime. Plus it also presents a love story that I don't find cheesy and literally one that transcends ALL time.

So here's a little tribute to the show. A simple drawing of Kurisu-tina and Mayuri *tut-tu-roo!* They're Okarin's most important people and I guess I wanted to show how they're both affected by the alteration of time in this drawing (with all the gears and the hourglass theme). Also I took some mathematical/scientific equations I found on the net and pasted it on this drawing just to make it look cooler. :XD:

Done using poster colors and edited in Photoshop. The equations are from here:…

Steins Gate does not belong to me.

Is it weird that my eyes got drawn to the mathematical formulas in the background to see if they were correct? Haha. Somehow, you managed to make that component integrate beautifully with the rest of the art.

I really like your visual style and the symbolism with Kurisu and Mayuri on opposite ends of the hourglass. As worldlines favor one heroine's life, the other's time begins to run out... You present this all very mesmerizingly, and I love the characteristic poses for Kuristina (!!) and Mayushii, the classic Steins;Gate gear motifs, and the wisps of ether/air that extend from Mayushii's dress and Kurisu's labcoat and fill out the rest of the composition.

All in all, very impressive and beautiful work. Having Steins;Gate be one of my favorite animes too is extra icing on the cake. :D

Nice, one of my favorite animes. Definitely in my top 3 :)
I think this drawing is particularly awesome (and that's not only because it's Steins;Gate, it really is) *-* Fav'ed!

Thanks for the fave! :D

Story alone, it's got to be one of the best in anime so far. Frankly, I'm a bit bored of all the fantasy themed anime or the slice of life type of anime. :XD:

Thank you! Yeah, I actually want my fan arts to have that sort of use. It's not just me drawing characters from animes I watch, it's also a way for me to tell other people about it. :D

Just spreading the love for anime! :D
